Second graders at Blandford Elementary gasped as they took their first steps into their brand-new classroom thanks to winning a classroom makeover contest. The 1963 classroom needed a refresh and now features $60,000 worth of new furniture designed and donated by the HON Company and OES Office Furniture and includes new student desks, chairs, teacher desks, storage and flexible seating.

Students from Killian Elementary performed traditional dance performances yesterday to celebrate the beginning of the Lunar New Year. This was the first time a school-wide celebration was organized with school partner the American Chinese School, (an after-school and Saturday program located on the Killian campus).
