The Rowland Unified School District wants to thank our community for their support of the Measure R Bonds and our community's unwavering support to invest in the educational learning spaces for student learning now and for the future.

Our beautiful new TK-8 campus of Stanley G. Oswalt Academy features new two-story innovative learning spaces, playgrounds, improved parking areas and the following buildings:
Kindergarten Building (8,800 square foot includes 5 Classrooms, 3 Teacher Work Rooms and Playground)
Oswalt Office and Library (7,300 square foot includes Reception Area, 8 Offices, Teacher Prep Areas, Library and Learning Space)
Multi-Purpose Room, Kitchen and Music Classrooms (15,000 square foot includes Multipurpose Room with Stage, Full-and Covered Exterior Lunch Shelter, Music & Band Classrooms)

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Community Open House and 40th Anniversary taking place May 15, 2024 at 5 PM.

Oswalt 7th Graders Go Back in Time With Outsiders Day – Inspired by Classic Novel

From hula hoop to arm wrestling competitions, to a car show, Outsiders Day is a unique event where Oswalt 7th grade students immersed themselves in various activities inspired by the classic novel, "The Outsiders." Students dressed up as either the Greasers or Socs, embracing the spirit of the book. From food and fun including a math proportional reasoning activity comparing the costs of items from the 60s to today, the event was entertaining and educational for Oswalt Academy students.

Students are always excited to see Ms. Nina each morning and after school, as she safely transports them to and from school. Students adore her and she is known for her warm smile and laughter and the absolute care and safety she provides to students in RUSD.
