RUSD TO EXPAND ELEMENTARY PROGRAM IN 2016-17
June 3, 2016 -- The Rowland Unified School District is excited to expand its elementary music program to serve more students in the 2016-17 school year and beyond. The goal is to provide music instruction to elementary students, by grade level, as part of their regular instruction program using credentialed music teachers. The details and specifics of this expansion of the music program is in the early stages. A team of music teachers has and will continue to meet during the summer to finalize specific grade levels and curriculum. This is exciting news to expose more students to music education and continue instrumental (strings and band) opportunities.
