The Rowland High School Swim team is hosting the Valle Vista League Championships on May 5th and 7th. *Elijah Liu (American Idol Season 12 finalist) and Rowland High and Swim Team Alum, plans to sing the National Anthem at the Finals!

“This year we have over 20 swimmers qualified for CIF, which will be held in Riverside in May. Then we hope to qualify a few swimmers for the first ever State Championships in Clovis on Memorial Day Weekend,” said Coach Cody. “Rowland is led by All-American and 2014 CIF Champion Michael Wang (Pictured), who has Qualified for the Automatic Qualifying Time for CIF in swimming....in every individual event!” Wang won CIF as a Junior last year and signed with UC Santa Barbara (he was also offered a scholarship at Penn State). “Michael hasn't decided which two individual events he will swim at CIF. He is a USA Swimming Junior National Qualifier and was All-American last year in the 100 and 200 Freestyles. He can potentially rewrite the record books in the Valle Vista league. Come out and watch history in the making!”
