Death of Blandford Student
Blandford Elementary Principal Mercedes Lovie writes:
"It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of a tragic event impacting our school community.
On Saturday a Blandford student was hit by a truck in Pasadena while crossing the street. Sadly, the student died shortly afterwards at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. More details can be found on the attachment. There will be counseling services offered to Blandford parents and students on Tuesday morning. If you need counseling come to the office and you will be guided to the appropriate location. We are saddened by this awful news and our hearts go out to the parents and loved ones of this student."
