Hollingworth Second Graders Meet the Mayor Wednesday

Hollingworth Second Graders have been studying about local city government and have had mini mock elections in their classes. The students will get a special treat as they will meet West Covina Mayor Steve Herfert on Wednesday, March 30 at 9 a.m.

The Mayor of West Covina will address students, discuss his job and then open up the rest of the time to questions and answers from the students. The 2nd grade winners for "room mayor" will also read their speeches for election and have an opportunity to take a picture with the mayor.
