Partnering with Local Business on Tuesday, October 10 at Cyber Security Event
LA PUENTE, CA -- October 5, 2023 -- One of the fastest growing industries and something that impacts every business is Cyber Security. Rowland Unified School District is proud to be one of only 11 School Districts in the nation selected to launch a Cyber Security career pathway program for high school students at Nogales High School that will create the region's hub for cyber talent.

Regional business leaders and a cyber expert panel from Google, Orbach, Huff and Henderson legal services and Grand Canyon University will meet with students and learn about this three year certification program that provides student talent for local businesses, mentoring opportunities, internships and real world experience so students are workforce and college ready. The program is part of the Digital Promise Center for Inclusive Innovation Initiative.
