Workshop Details

Title: From Conflict to Confidence: Guiding Your Child Through Social Challenges
Details: When your child comes home upset about playground gossip, mean words, or "roasting," it can be hard to know how to respond. Join us for a practical workshop to learn how to distinguish typical peer conflict from bullying, recognize warning signs, and use simple, actionable conversation "scripts" to support your child at home. We'll also share general guidelines for when and how to partner with your school for additional support.
Audience: Caregivers of Jellick students attending Elevo. The workshop will also be open district-wide, so any interested parent or guardian is welcome to attend.

ELO-P Counselors would need the following from the host site:

A Promethean board or projector in the MPR
A separate space where PSAs can supervise children during the workshop.
Custodial support to set up the presentation room according to a room layout that we will provide in advance.
