25th ANNIVERSARY OF “PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY” WHERE BUSINESS LEADERS SUPPORT EDUCATION AND HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
Special Guest Speaker Physician Dr. Cho-Han Victor Cheng
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA – FEBRUARY 20, 2018 – Business and community leaders from across the San Gabriel Valley are invited to support local student scholarships and experience first-hand what it is like to be a school leader at the unique “Principal for a Day” event on March 1, 2018. This is the 25th anniversary of the event where community members tour schools and become guest principals across Bassett, Hacienda La Puente, and Rowland Unified School Districts, and the La Puente Valley Regional Occupational Program.
Attendees are then invited to attend a complimentary luncheon where this year’s special guest speaker will be Dr. Victor Cheng (pictured), a family medicine practitioner and Physician-in-Charge at the Kaiser Permanente Diamond Bar Medical Offices.
Thanks to corporate sponsors, there are 14 high school career scholarships in the amount of $400 presented to high school seniors from each District at the Principal for a Day Luncheon, held at 11:30 a.m. at the Industry Hills Expo Center in the City of Industry. Music Entertainment will be presented by the Workman High School Jazz Combo.
