Rowland High School Students Organize Community “Heroes for Haiti” Day Saturday, Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
National Honor Society students at Rowland High School have launched a three week campaign relief effort called “Heroes for Haiti” and are asking the community to help with clothing, school supplies and monetary donations on Saturday, February 6 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Rowland High School. Students will welcome public donations in the Rowland High School parking lot, located at 2000 S. Otterbein Avenue , Rowland Heights . “This great effort by our students truly exemplifies our community of caring values and I am so proud of our students for launching this campaign,” said Mitch Brunyer, Principal of Rowland High School.
The entire school is collecting student donations and the top three classroom awards will be their teacher dressing up as a superhero! The top class will celebrate with an ice cream social.
