In celebration of "Music in Our Schools Month," KTLA Channel 5 Morning News Reporter Gayle Anderson reported live yesterday from Shelyn Elementary and featured Rowland Unified's music programs.
Featured were: The mobile music bus "The Music Machine" with Shelyn students and Music Teacher Laura Tovar, choir students and Music Teacher Lora Bennitt, even Shelyn Principal Sarah Opatkiewicz was on screen, along with Superintendent Dr. Maria Ott.
Anderson could not put down the instrument she learned to play alongside the students - the sax!
