Rowland Adult & Community Education SUMMER Classes Begin June 11!

Rowland Adult and Community Education Summer 2018 Session

Rowland Adult and Community Education located at 2100 Lerona Avenue in Rowland Heights will begin its summer session on June 11, 2018.  Registration for classes is now open.  Students can register over the phone, through fax, email or in person in the office.

The school provides classes such as Parent Education, free English as a Second Language, Distance Learning, Citizenship, High School Diploma and GED preparation classes.

New classes for the summer session are Beginning French Conversation, Beginning Drawing, The Art and Craft of Storytelling, Mommy and Me Cake Pop, Cake and Cupcake Decorating, Cake, Cupcake and Cookie Decorating, Digital Photography for Teens, SAT Writing, How To Get a High Score on Standardized Exams, Introduction to Chemistry Made Easy, and School Bus Driver Certification.  Returning fee-based classes are Floral Design, Classic & Glamour Make-up, Anti-Aging, and Piano for Adults & Seniors.  A wide selection of fitness and health classes are provided from Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Folkdance and Line Dance, Weight Management and Reflexology. Students interested in computer classes can select from Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.  A variety of general interest classes are Beginning Chinese Conversation, First Aid and CPR, Basic Life Support, Introduction to Science, Basic Math Review, Digital Photography, Introduction to Voiceovers, Golf, and State Notary Public. 

Rowland Adult and Community Education classes go beyond the traditional on campus classes with online classes, which students can take at the comfort of their home.
