Giano Student Melissa Munoz competing in the 2008 Inland Valley Regional Spelling Bee on March 1: This 7th grade Spelling Champion will have the opportunity to compete with 29 other Spellers from across the inland empire. If she wins the IVRSB, she will be sent by the Diamond Bar Friends of the Library to Washington DC to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee during the week of May 25th.
The Inland Valley Regional Spelling Bee will be held in the Diamond Bar High School Theater. Diamond Bar High School is located at 21400 Pathfinder Road in Diamond Bar. The Bee will start at 1:00 PM on March 1st, and will last approximately two and a half hours.
