Rowland Offers New Hands-On Science Classes from Youth Science Center at Blandford July 16-27

   A SUMMER OF SCIENCE DISCOVERY OFFERED JULY 16 – 27 FOR K-8 STUDENTS

 

ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA -- JULY 9, 2012 –- If your kids are crazy about science, then check-out new summer science classes offered July 16 -27 for children in grades K – 8 in Rowland Heights by the Youth Science Center. The hands-on, interactive classes cover the world of Chemistry (Dr. Flubber’s Wild and Fun Experiments Grades 4/5) Physics (Science Madness Grades 6-8 and Fantastic Flyers Grades 2-3), Paleontology (Let’s Go on a Dinosaur Dig Grades K-1) Astronomy (Space Invaders Grades 2-3 and Our Super Solar System Grades 3-5) Geology (Rock Your World Grades 2-3 and 3-5) and so much more! Whether it is building robots or learning about the body, classes will excite students about the world of science.

            Classes begin at $65 and are offered in three session times: 8:30 – 10 a.m., 10:15 – 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 – 3:45 p.m. Classes take place at Blandford Elementary School (located at 2601 S. The Youth Science Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving math and science education. It has been providing quality science, math and computer classes for students in grades K-8 throughout the San Gabriel Valley since 1962.
