SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP FOR BOYS/GIRLS 7-14 BY ROWLAND HS CHAMPIONS
Two Sessions Available June 11 – 15 and June 18-22
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA – JUNE 1, 2012 – Register now for the Summer Rowland Basketball Camp for Boys/Girls age 7 – 14 that takes place Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rowland High School. (Early drop-off at 8 a.m. and late pickup at 1 p.m. available free of charge.) Two sessions are available: Session 1 is June 11 – 15, Session 2 is June 18-22. Each session is $100. The camp is led by league champion coaches from Rowland High School, Gordon Hamlow, Head Basketball Coach and Jason Villanueva, Assistant Varsity Coach. Students are asked to bring basketball shoes, white T-Shirt, blue or black shorts, bottled water and a great attitude!

Rowland Basketball Camp looks to develop a solid foundation grounded in the fundamentals of the game of basketball for players of all levels. Beginners will be given an opportunity to grow in a positive environment, while advanced players will be challenged to improve their skills in a more competitive environment. Experienced staff made up for current and former Rowland Basketball players will provide instruction in the areas of Ball Handling, Passing, Shooting, Individual Moves, Footwork, Defense, and Rebounding. In addition to on court skills, an emphasis will be put on Team Work, the importance of Positive Interaction, and Work Ethic. Shooting Contests, Free Throw Contests, Team Games, and 1 on 1 Championships will also be conducted.
