Summer is around the corner and it’s time to register for a variety of summer enrichment classes offered at Rowland Unified – new science & math classes, and our popular Summer Arts, Theater, Education Through Music Family Day Camp, and recreation programs!
The Summer Arts Academy will celebrate its 15th year! It starts June 11 for children in grades 1 – 6. This 3-week camp offers singing, dancing and art daily from 8:15 a.m. – Noon Monday - Friday! The cost is only $180 per child and includes three weeks of instruction, all art supplies and a special Summer Arts T-Shirt!
Students in grades 5-8 can perform in the musical production of “Annie” in the Summer Theater program. They are both hosted at Hollingworth Elementary (located at 3003 E. Hollingworth Street in West Covina). Contact the Schools Division at (626)854-8348 or CLICK HERE to download Forms.
New this summer is hands-on Science Classes from the Youth Science Center. Classes will take place the last two weeks of July at Blandford Elementary (located at 2601 S. Blandford Drive in Rowland Heights) and are for grades K-8. To view all science classes offered, visit www.youthsciencecenter.org.
Education Through Music Family Day Camp feature games, singing, storytelling and art and is for the entire family – from ages 3 to adult! Classes are at Hurley Elementary (located at 535 S. An International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Math & Science Academy will also be offered for all students in grades K -6 by Heart for Education.
