Nogales High School Student Poets Teach Hip Hop and Poetry Workshops to Neighbor High School Dec. 10

WEST COVINA, CA -- On December 10, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., 35 students from the Nogales High School Poetry Club will perform and conduct student-led poetry workshops to English students at Edgewood School in West Covina. The two assemblies and workshops will be conducted by the Poetry Club members and the workshops are: Hip Hop and Poetry, Styles of Poetry and The Art of Story-Telling Through Poetry.

Nogales High School English Teacher and Club Advisor Cory Cofer said this is the second year that the English Department at Edgewood School has invited the Nogales Poetry Club to perform and teach.
