New Summer Enrichment Programs Offered For Elementary Students!

 
Registration Begins Monday, May 17
 
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA – MAY 12, 2010 –Families looking for summer enrichment programs for their children in Math & Science, Arts and Crafts, Reading and Language Immersion in Spanish, French and Japanese, can enroll in a new series of summer courses offered by Rowland Adult and Community Education June 21 – July 15, 2010.  Early registration begins Monday, May 17 and can take place by mail, fax or in person at Rowland Adult and Community Education, located at 2100 Lerona Avenue, in Rowland Heights.  A variety of classes designed for students in grades K – 7 will be offered from 9 a.m. to Noon and are held in two sessions, the first is Monday, June 21 – Thursday, July 1. Session 2 is Tuesday, July 6 – Friday, July 16.  The cost is $96 per session, plus a $9 material fee.  Classes will be a minimum of 15 students and maximum of 20 students.
           
Parents can help their children prepare for Kindergarten with “Get Ready for Kindergarten,” science and math collide with a hands-on class that explores the ocean deep with “Life in the Depths,” and “Education Through Music” will help students promote language skills through songs and games.
