NORTHAM STUDENTS RAISE $10,000 IN JOG-A-THON FOR TECHNOLOGY

LA PUENTE, CA -- APRIL 20, 2010 --  The results are in and students from Northam Elementary School met their goal of raising $10,000 in a Jog-A-Thon on March 25 to help support their school's Computer Lab for technology needs!

The $10,000 will help the school purchase technology needs such as: new computers, LCD projectors for the classroom, peripherals, and cameras for the school’s student podcasting projects and website.

Northam's Multi-Media Center helps students to develop learning skills that enable them to think critically, analyze information, communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve.

“Many students do not have computers at home and we must support students with technology anyway possible,” said Northam Technician, Yvonne Bradley.
