**Flu Shots will be available on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 1:30 - 4 p.m. for $20. There will be Giveaways and door prizes!
 
It's that time of year again! Open enrollment for employees means you can:
  • Switch between Health Plans
  • Add your eligible dependents who have not been previously added
  • Delete your dependents from your plan
**ALL employees who are currently enrolled in either the Blue Cross High Option PPO or Low Option PPO MUST come to open enrollment to re-enroll. This is required by Blue Cross because of the switch of claims administrator from Keenan on 1/1/09.
 
Any employee who is currently enrolled bu wishes to switch to another insurance plan.
 
RUSD Section 125 Flexible Spending Account
  • American Fidelity Assurance representatives will be available during open enrollment and at school sites to sign up employees who wish to start to participate in the RUSD Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan. This applies to unreimbursed medical expenses and dependent care elections.
Notice of Future Eligibility Audit
  • The District will be conducting an eligibilty audit in the near future to ensure that only dependents who meet the definition of "eligible" are actually enrolled. A copy of the tax return showing dependents will be required to be presented for inspection. (Definitions are a legally married spouse according to state law; an unmarried child of an employee or legal spouse if the child is under the age of 19 -- or age 26 with full time student status; and chiefly dependent upon the employee of spouse for support and maintenance. Child is defined as a natural child; a stepchild; a child who is legally adopted.
 
All required forms must be completed and returned to the Risk Management Department by the end of the day on Friday, November 14. The changes you make during this period will be effective January 1.
