Congratulations to the Rowland Raider Regiment (RRR) and their new band director, Mr. Jason Alvo, on their outstanding performance at West High School in Torrance on Saturday, October 4, 2008. The Regiment, at its first competition of the 2008 season, was awarded Sweepstakes in four categories: Visual, General Effect, Band, and Auxiliary. Now come see them in action!
Come enjoy a day of music as you watch more than 22 High School Bands from across Southern California perform and compete in the 38th Annual Rowland Field Show Tournament. This year there will be a special performance by the UCLA Marching Band! The Rowland Raider Regiment will also perform its "Hearbeat" Show.
The Annual Field Show Torunament is the major fundraiser for the Rowland Raider Regiment. This event helps pay for uniforms, competitions, instruments and more. Also come early and enjoy the snack bar and booths! It's something you have to see and hear. You won't be disappointed!
Admission: $3 student - wearing RUSD school band shirt (elementary/junior high)
$5 child - ages 5 - 12 (Under 5 FREE)
$7 teen and adult (over 12 years old)
$5 senior - 62 years and older
