Nogales High School Fine Arts & Aquatics Center
The Rowland Unified School District is proud to announce it has broken ground on a new 35,000 square foot Fine Arts and Aquatics Center for the students of Nogales High School. This $30.9 million project is the latest school modernization made possible by the community’s support of the Measure R Bonds. Extensive community input from staff, students and parents has shaped the design of this state-of-the-art facility that is scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2026.
Key features of the new center include:
- A new aquatics center with a 14-lane swimming pool, viewing stands, and boys and girls locker/PE rooms with showers, classroom and office spaces.
- A new 2,231 square foot choir room, a 3,064 square foot band room with practice spaces, instrument storage and restrooms.
- A 2,658 square foot Nobles Pride Room event space for dance, aerobics and large staff/community meetings that showcases a stunning birds eye view from the second floor, overlooking the playfields and quad of the Nogales High School campus.
Taxpayers have provided unwavering support to invest in the modernization of educational learning spaces for Rowland Unified schools with the passage of the $118 million 2006 Measure R Bond and the $158.8 million 2012 Measure R Bond. The most recently completed bond project, the new Oswalt Academy campus, was completed on-time and under budget.
