The Rowland Unified School District Transportation Department provides transportation service to students at a minimum cost per year. Students must purchase a bus pass or bus tickets in order to ride the school bus to and from school daily. You can purchase bus passes for $100.00 per semester for each student, for a total of $200.00 for the year, and a book of 10 bus tickets for $20.00. Passes and bus tickets are sold only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Mon-Fri. Closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily.

The Transportation Department "Does Not" accept any cash. Only accepting checks, Money Orders, Visa and Mastercard, and debit cards.
Families with three or more children attending Rowland schools are eligible for a discount on the purchase of bus passes. Free transportation is available to families who qualify based on federal guidelines per economic household. This includes all working adults in the entire household with qualifying income information.
To determine your eligibility for financial assistance, you must bring the following original documents in person to Transportation Services.
- Rental Agreement or Mortgage Statements *Required*
- Last three months Paycheck Stubs
- AFDC action Paperwork or other qualifying legal documents
- Last year's Income Tax Returns
If you would like to mail-in your payment for transportation of your children, please fill out the bus pass mailing invoice located on this page, and mail back with the payment. The pass will be processed and mailed back to the address on record, or you may come by the Transportation office to pick up.
