Early Enrollment Application window February 1 to March 1, 2023
 
NEW students to the Rowland Unified School District will need to first complete the 2023-2024 Online Enrollment, before submitting a 2023-2024 Intradistrict Early Enrollment Application to a preferred school. 
 
 
The 2023-2024 Early Enrollment Application is for students in grade levels TK-12, that reside within the Rowland Unified School District and would like to be considered for attendance in a school within the Rowland Unified School District other than their assigned school of residence.  
 
The 2023-2024 Early Enrollment Application is for 6th grade students transitioning from an elementary school to an intermediate school of choice for 7th grade or an 8th grade student transitioning to a high school, school of choice for 9th grade. Students attending a K-8 Academy do not need to apply or reapply.   
 
The 2023-2024 Early Enrollment Application is ONLY IF you would like to have your child continue attending the current school placement for the next school year 2023-2024 because your child was placed this 2022-2023 school year at a school other than their assigned school of residence due to, "grade capacity, overflow, no space".
 

February 1, 2023

23-24 Intradistrict Transfer Application Early Enrollment will be available online, at all school sites and the District Office.


March 1, 2023

Last day to submit the 23-24 Intradistrict Transfer Application Early Enrollment only to Student Services by 4:30 p.m. 


March 27, 2023

Parents will receive a letter regarding their child's school placement and the next steps to follow to complete the enrollment process for the 2023-2024 school year.


May 12, 2023

Parents must have completed all enrollment procedures with their child’s new school placement for the 23-24 school year.  Placement to the preferred school is forfeited if the parent fails to submit all required documentation by this date.

 
Placement to your preferred school for the 2023-2024 school year is pending space availability in the school, grade level and program.  If there are more applications than space availability, placement will be determined by an unbiased lottery process. Applications are NOT PROCESSED FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED.  
 
Please note: Transportation will be the responsibility of the parent if you wish for your child to continue at the school currently attending due to "grade capacity", the student will no longer be eligible for transportation.
