Description

The Rowland Unified School District will begin the 2020/2021 school year in the Virtual Classroom model -- a full distance learning setting. In this option, students would not report to school at any time and would participate in classes all online with a teacher and group of classmates. Class would be held at assigned times and would require attendance and completion of assignments and assessments given by the teacher.

No In-Person Interactions

Students would not participate in any in-person instruction.

Expectations

Students enrolled in Virtual Classrooms will need access to a device and regular access to reliable WiFi. The District will be able to provide devices to all participating students and WiFi hotspots to most families in need.

Learning Platforms

Students will use Google classroom, Seesaw, and Zoom, among other online learning tools.
