Community Invited to Open House for Rowland Adult & Community Education

COMMUNITY INVITED TO OPEN HOUSE FOR

ROWLAND ADULT & COMMUNITY EDUCATION MARCH 25 

ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA – MARCH 20, 2015  – Rowland Adult & Community Education (RACE), located at 2100 Lerona Ave., just south of Killian Elementary, will open its doors to the community at its annual Open House on March 25, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Want to sharpen your job skills, explore a new hobby or take an online class? This is the chance to learn about the wide range of courses offered by RACE by visiting classes in session and by speaking to current students and instructors. Visitors can view displays of classes offered that include Parent Education, GED Test Prep or High School Diploma, Older Adult Classes, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship Courses. General interest classes include arts & crafts, computer skills, health and fitness such as Zumba, job improvement courses and a new series of on-line career certificate training programs in the fields of Sales & Marketing, Web Design & Digital Photography/Video, Business & Accounting. The Open House will also include a book sale providing 15% off books.
