This year's funds totaled $25,012 in grants to 21 district teachers for innovative programs to enhance school studies. This is a $7,000 increase from last year's awards.

Funds are raised at the FOR US annual Casino Night. The total money raised for teacher grants since 1998 is now $177,304.

The foundation also donated $5,000 to the RUSD to purchase instruments for the new Elementary Strings program.
