Nogales AVID Students Headed for College

Nogales AVID students headed for College: Nogales High School AVID Teacher Jessica Polidano shares this news:

“This year Nogales High School had 52 seniors enrolled in the AVID program. Seven of these AVID seniors participated in the AVID program for six years, both in middle school and high school, aside from being involved in sports, clubs, and volunteer groups off campus. Out of the 52 AVID seniors, 36 were accepted to a four-year university and every single one of them plans to attend college. Career majors range from rheumatologist and neonatal nursing to civil and landscape engineering, to math and history teaching. All of these students were recognized at Senior Honors Night last Wednesday by the AVID coordinator and new AVID District Directors Mr. Stephen Edmunds and Ms. Jessica Polidano. We are very proud of all of these students and wish them the best of luck in college!”
