OSWALT ACADEMY OPENS NEW SCIENCE AND MIDDLE SCHOOL BUILDING MARCH 6
WALNUT, CA – FEBRUARY 28, 2013 – The Rowland Unified School District will hold a Grand Opening Celebration for its new Science & Middle School Building at Oswalt Academy on Wednesday, March 6 at 3:15 p.m. Oswalt Academy serves K-8 students in the Rowland Unified School District and is an International Baccalaureate (IB World) School. It also features the Apple One to One Laptop Program and was just recognized for the fourth consecutive year as an “Apple Distinguished School” for its innovative technology integration school-wide. The $4 million dollar, 16,000 square foot new science and middle school building features nine instructional classrooms, a recycling room and new science laboratory classroom with experiment preparation area, chemical-resistant furniture and science equipment and storage areas.
