Open Enrollment (CHOICE) for 2013-14 Deadline January 18

The Rowland Unified School District will be accepting applications for CHOICE Open Enrollment withinthe district for all K-12 schools (including Telesis Academy)  for the 2013-14 school year from families that live within the Rowland Unified School District. The deadline is January 18 by 4 p.m. to turn in applications to the Pupil Services Office.
 

January 18, 2013

Last day to turn in Choice Open Enrollment applications to Pupil Services by 4:00 p.m. 

February 28, 2013

Parents will be notified by mail of the outcome of their Choice Open Enrollment Application.  

March 29, 2013

Deadline for students to register or parents to confirm acceptance to the school of choice. If parent fails to register or contact the school of choice, your Choice Open Enrollment Application is forfeited.   

ONLY if you wish for your child to attend another school within the Rowland District you must complete the required CHOICE Open Enrollment Form. The form will be available for pick up at any school site in the district or from Pupil Services Office at: 1928 S. Nogales Street, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, as of November 1, 2012.

 Do not fill out a CHOICE Open Enrollment Form if your child will continue to attend his or her school of residence in the 2013-14 school year. 
 
Sibling(s) of a child attending a School of Choice must submit a CHOICE Open Enrollment Form and write the name of the child already attending the School of Choice.  Placement of the sibling(s) is pending space availability.
 
Transportation: Transportation to a school of choice is the responsibility of the parent. 
 
REMINDER: The deadline for all forms is Friday, January 18, 2013, by 4:00 p.m. in Pupil Services Office. Late hand carried applications or mailed applications received after the due date or time will not be accepted.
