REGISTER NOW FOR UNIQUE SUMMER ARTS ACADEMY AND THEATER PROGRAM FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS

Lights, Camera, Enroll Now! If you have a child that loves to sing, dance, paint and perform, register now for two popular summer programs: the Summer Arts Academy and Summer Theater presented by the Rowland Unified School District. Any student can attend these unique summer camps that will be located this year at Hollingworth Elementary School, 3003 E. Hollingworth Street in West Covina. (Note: Due to modernization construction, the programs will not be held at Oswalt Academy in Walnut.)
               
SUMMER ARTS ACADEMY June 14 - July 1:  Children entering grades 2 – 6 can get creative and take part in singing, dancing, art and drama activities.  Classes are held Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. – Noon. The cost is only $180 per child and includes three weeks of instruction, all art supplies and a special Summer Arts T-Shirt! A special “Gallery Night” and performance is held on June 30 at 5 p.m. that showcases the artwork and talent of all students involved.
           
SUMMER THEATER Presents “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” June 12 - July 9:  Children entering grades 5 – 8 become part of a musical theater production and perform in the musical, “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” under the direction of Laura Tovar. Classes are held Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The cost is only $200 per child and includes four weeks of instruction, all costumes and props, a special Summer Theater T-Shirt and two free tickets to a performance!  “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” performance dates are Wednesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 8 at 7 p.m. in Hollingworth’s Cafeteria.
