Rowland Adult and Community Education Fall 2019 Session
Rowland Adult and Community Education located at 2100 Lerona Avenue in Rowland Heights began its Fall session on August 12, 2019. Registration for classes is now open! Students can register over the phone, through fax, email or in person in the office.
The school provides classes such as Parent Education, free English as a Second Language, Distance Learning, Citizenship, High School Diploma, or GED/HiSET preparation classes.
New classes for the fall session are: Beginning in Watercolor Painting, All Levels of Drawing and Painting, Beginning Sewing, Buttercream Basics, Holiday Cookie Rookie, Basic Personal Finance, and School Bus Driver Certification. Returning fee-based classes are Classic & Glamour Make-up, Anti-Aging, Guitar, and Piano for Adults & Seniors. A wide selection of fitness and health classes are provided from Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Folkdance and Line Dance, Weight Management and Reflexology. Students interested in computer classes can select from Intro to Computers and Word Processing or Intro to Excel and PowerPoint. A variety of general interest classes are Beginning Chinese Conversation, First Aid and CPR, Introduction to Voiceovers, Golf, and Loan Signing, Real Estate Made Easy, and State Notary Public.
Rowland Adult and Community Education classes go beyond the traditional on campus classes with online classes, which students can take at the comfort of their home. The spectrum of online classes range from hundreds of career training programs such as Medical Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technician, Professional Bookkeeping, Human Resources Professional, Accounting Fundamentals, HVACR Certified Technician, Certified Outpatient Coder, Veterinary Assistant, and many more.
