The Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council’s regular community meeting on the above date and time will feature a presentation on sex offenders living in our vicinity that will be of interest to parents of children attending Rowland Unified schools.  Reserve Deputy Don Busch from the Industry Sheriff Station will show attendees how to search online for the location of sex offenders living in the area and in addition will:

 

1.  Discuss myths and facts about sexual assault

2.  Provide tips on protecting yourself, your family and community, and

3.  Provide tips on sexual assault prevention

 

The meeting will also include reports from the Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, and representatives from the offices of elected officials representing our community.

 

There is no charge for admission and all residents are invited and encouraged to attend.
