Welcome to Giano Intermediate School!

There is great excitement in Gladiator Country!  We are proud to have been recognized as a "California Distinguished School” and a National AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) Demonstration Site.   Students are learning at Giano.  Dedicated staff walks the hallways and as the new principal, I consider myself extremely fortunate to be part of this educational leadership team that focuses on student achievement and success.  The spirit here is contagious and I am thrilled to be part of it!
The administration and staff look forward to working in partnership with parents, students and the community.  We will work hard to continue and build upon the tradition and spirit of Giano Intermediate School.  All of us at Giano want to make this a successful year for your child. We are so fortunate to have the strong support of our school by our active PTA and our families. We know that it takes school, families, and community working together to provide the best possible education for your children.
Giano Intermediate School is dedicated to a student-centered program of academic excellence.  The students, staff, and community are working together in a partnership to develop and support capable, responsible, and productive members of society.
