FOR US Foundation
The Friends of Rowland Unified Schools (FOR US) Foundation is a tax-exempt, independent, community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining, enhancing and enriching the education and well being of all Rowland Unified School District students. We generate revenues to provide project grants to teachers to enrich learning in technology, math, reading, and special education as well as the arts.
Since its inception in 1996, the FOR US Foundation has raised over $200,000 in funds for classroom grants ranging from $100-$2,500 each, for innovative programs, supplies, and equipment.
- Casino Night - Held each spring, the community event is a fun, affordable way to show your support for RUSD schools. The Casino Night is the only source of grant funding. - Tree of Learning Endowment Fund - Endowment gifts range from $250 to $10,000. Donation levels are represented by engraved metal leaves displayed on the “tree of learning” in the boardroom of the District headquarters.
- United Way Donations - Employees may designate funds annually to FOR US during the annual United Way campaign.
