Before and After School Care

Every elementary campus, as well as a few of our intermediate schools, offer before- and after-school care by Options Surround Care, a contracted licensed day-care provider. The program is open from 6:30 - 8:30 a.m. (care not available during school hours) and from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The child-care program supports instruction with structured time for homework completion. A nutritious snack, outdoor activities (weather permitting), indoor games and arts/crafts make the day-care experience fun and rewarding.

The after-school care for intermediate school students provides peace of mind to parents who have the assurance that their pre-teen is safe and secure in a school-supervised environment. Structured quiet time is set aside for homework. Students also have opportunities to play team sports, computer games, board games and other fun activities.
