THANKSGIVING TURKEY BASKETS FOR RUSD FAMILIES IN NEED Deadline Nov. 21 at 4 p.m.
RUSD’s Family Resource Center staff provides beautiful Thanksgiving Turkey Baskets to our families that are in need. Between 15 and 35 families are serviced depending on contributions. Laundry baskets are filled with the following items in order to provide a complete Thanksgiving Dinner:
- Turkey or Ham
- Can of Whipped Cream or tub of Cool Whip
- Rolls or Tortillas
- Canned Vegetables
- Boxed Mashed Potatoes
- Pre-made Pumpkin Pie
- Box of stuffing
- Canned Gravy
- Butter
- Plates, napkins, plastic silverware (all optional)
Families are selected by our Homeless Community Liaisons and all names of the families receiving baskets are kept confidential. *If you are interested in participating in this activity, all baskets or donations of any individual items must be delivered to the Family Resource Center (17800 E. Renault La Puente, CA 91744) by the afternoon (4 pm) of Monday, November 21, 2016.
