It was a beautiful evening on May 18th for the RUSD Employee of the Year Recognition Dinner. This year it was at a larger venue, the Diamond Bar Center, to accommodate more guests to support RUSD’s Classified and Certificated Employees of the Year from each site and our District winners. Honorees were presented with corsages/boutonnieres when they arrived and were entertained with string students from both Nogales and Rowland High Schools (under the direction of Richard Schermer). Telesis Academy 7th Grade student Terrah Benjamin sang her heart out with the National Anthem and the evening’s Masters of Ceremonies were Richard Thune (Teacher at Rowland High School) and Mary Casian (Bus Driver from Transportation). The Board of Education and Superintendent recognized everyone and new this year were videos on all of the winners. A special thank you goes out to event sponsors SchoolsFirst Credit Union and Chaffey Federal Credit Union. Congratulations once again to all of our winners!
