It's back to school time and CBS News came out to Rowland Unified to cover our schools! All day today, Monday, August 19, Northam Elementary and Ybarra Academy are featured in school stories on CBS Channel 2 News.
On Friday, Northam Elementary Kindergarten Teacher Luz Padilla was interviewed about important school supplies teachers always need in the their classrooms. Today, CBS Morning News (from 5 AM to 7 AM) came out bright and early to interview staff and students from Ybarra Academy about the opening of school. The red carpet was rolled out and the cameras captured excitement both on the carpet of the Ybarra Cheer Team and ASB students welcoming students to school, as well as in the Innovation Lab with students having fun with technology such as coding and robots. The front office team was also captured with their huge smiles!
