On behalf of the Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 (AGA) Textbook Adoption Committee, the public is invited to the public viewing of new math textbooks that are currently being piloted. These textbooks are being considered for adoption and if adopted, will be placed in classrooms beginning August 2017.
Teachers have been part of the book adoption process since the beginning of the school year. They have chosen to pilot two programs, Big Ideas and Pearson. Each group will have the opportunity to pilot both programs and have a decision by May 2017. The viewing is a chance for the public to give comments or ask questions about the textbooks. Representatives will be present in order to answer any inquiry or concerns.
