The Rowland Unified School District will hold a Math Instructional Materials Fair on April 16th from Noon to 5 p.m. in room P-2 at the District Office. The materials for review are focused on grades K-6. This is an opportunity for all interested teachers, staff and community members to view the new materials that have been State approved and are aligned to the Common Core Standards. Publishers will be displaying materials and will be available for answering any questions regarding their programs. The fair is a time to preview materials only. The District has formed an Elementary Instructional Materials Adoption Committee with representation from every school and grade K-6. The Instructional Materials Adoption committee will pilot materials next year and will bring a recommendation to the Board of Education for final adoption in late Spring of 2015.
